Sesshin is an extended meditation that includes zazen (sitting meditation), kinhin (walking meditation) oryoki meals, lectures, and mindful work.
During this Genzo-e (study) sesshin, time will be allowed for reading and studying "Bussho" from Dogen Zenji's Shobogenzo. This genzo-e is the second in a series of three, all of which are on the topic of "Bussho." The remaining portion of "Bussho" will be covered in 2010.

REGISTRATION
All registrations will be handled through Dharma Field Zen Center.
FEES & PARTICIPATION
Previous sesshin experience is recommended.
Fee (5 days): $325 ($250/member)
Fee (4 consecutive days): $260 ($200/member)*
Fee (3 consecutive days): $195 ($150/member)*
Sesshin participants are required to be in attendance for the full sesshin schedule for each day that they are registered.
*Priority given to participants who register for the full five days.
MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS
Discounts offered for registrants who are current, paid-up members at any of the following centers:
Dharma Field, Clouds in Water, Compassionate Ocean, MZMC or any center whose Teacher is a Dharma decendent of Katagiri Roshi.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Genzo-e registration deadline has passed.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Full refund if Dharma Field is notified before August 27, 2008.
Fifty percent refund if notified August 28 through September 3, 2008.
No refund given if notified later than September 3, 2008.
PARTIAL SESSHIN registrations will not be fulfilled until September 4, 2008. Therefore full refunds will be offered to partial sesshin registrants if the sesshin is already full on that date.
